Purpose: To bring together the entire membership of Macedonia and the community in studying the Word of God. Bible Study may include the study of different books of the Bible, specific topics or a Christian book; all of which is used to grow and strengthen us about the Word and our relationship with God. It is also beneficial in helping us to grow and develop ministry work.

Purpose: To help individuals learn improved methods of handling their anger and anger provoking situations varying in intensity and consequences. Our goal is for individuals to be able to handle situations more effectively and eliminate consequences associated with anger.

Purpose: To work diligently and to be fully prepared for any worship service or event held at the church. Our goal is for the worship service to unfold technically seamlessly and that worship is both enhanced and uninterrupted.

Purpose: The Bible is clear in its directions to the church to come to the aid of those who are in need. The first responsibility of the Church is to care for its members and then those outside the church. It is this ministry’s goal to provide assistance by helping individuals meet basic spiritual and physical needs such as food, clothing and shelter of the needy, similar to how the widows were being overlooked in the daily distribution of food in Acts 6:1.

Purpose: We will explore, seek and assist primary school children to achieve their goal in life. A young mind is a foolish thing to waste.
Goal: That all children will have an opportunity to receive the basic education for their survival within their environment. Provide yearly back to school materials. Partnering with the Ground of the Moving Church of God in Runaway Bay St. Ann Jamaica, West Indies and other resources through sponsorship and personal donations.

Purpose: The Deacon’s Ministry, together with the Pastor, strives to maintain a high spirit atmosphere throughout the church.

Purpose: To decorate and beautify the Sanctuary of our church. The sweet smell of flowers enhances the sanctuary purpose of worship.

Purpose: To glorify God the Father through the proclamation of the Good News that salvation is by Jesus Christ alone. Evangelism is about proclaiming the Good News (Gospel) of Jesus Christ to the lost sinner.

Purpose: The purposes of the Finance Ministry are 1) To serve the members of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church by leading them in sound financial directions; 2) To effectively manage the finances of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church utilizing team member expertise in order to set positive directions; and 3) To encourage both church and personal financial growth, achieving short term and long term financial goals.
Meeting Day and Time: Generally staff meetings are held the second Wednesday of each month at 6:00PM in the Family Life Center. Ad Hoc meetings are called occasionally when the situation arises.

Purpose: The Flowers and Cards Ministry is to contact our members that are sick, bereaved or going through a stressful time in their life. We offer prayers, encouragement, flowers, cards and monetary support. We continue to keep in contact with the person or family. Christ commissioned us to take care of one another and to “love they neighbor as thyself” which is the goal of this ministry. We respond as soon as we get information regarding our members.

Purpose: To bring the Gospel of Jesus Christ to the lost around the world. Support established ministries, recruit members and establish training for those interesting in ministering overseas.

Purpose: To provide education towards a high school diploma. This ministry works in conjunction with Links of Hope and dedicated to the church and the community in providing community needed education.

Purpose: To provide a running historical data system of the growth of Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church.

Purpose: Is to sing songs of praises and worship about the goodness and grace of God our father, Jesus Christ our Savior and the Holy Spirit to spread the Good News through Christian music.

Purpose: The Kitchen Ministry serves unselfishly because we want to, not because we have to. We desire to provide a service for nourishment to the body and soul with a joy that we have given the best that we can give without wanting anything in return.

Purpose: Our ministry has several purposes which include 1) Enlist and coordinate the manpower of the local congregation for an effective performance of essential Christian activities; 2) Cultivate the Christian life of laymen through study, worship, fellowship and service; 3) Enlist un-churched men for fellowship in and service through the church; 4) Bring unsaved men into vital relationship with God in Christ through personal commitment to Him, and 5) Inspire men to support the total program of the church in the local congregation, the community, and the world. Some of our objectives are to enlist all men in active Christian service to the Church through the local congregation, and to promote boys’ work in the local congregation.

Purpose: Our Mission includes, but is not limited to, providing decent housing, and participating where possible, in the Federal Housing Administration Affordable Housing Programs for under-privileged persons and persons of very low, low and moderate incomes. The desired result is to inspire the people of South Brevard County to make a difference in improving their living conditions, the condition of their neighbors, and also of their community.

Purpose: We minister with songs in our heart with a chance to enhance the service of the Lord. We sing songs that are pleasing to God with a praising attitude.

Purpose: To prepare new members for service through preaching and teaching the word of God as they become part of this family in our Church

Purpose: To serve the church in the capacity as a nurse by assisting the stricken and the helpless; to provide urgently necessary first aid and nursing care. To promote and maintain health as it relates to the mind, body and soul. Our goal is to actively participate in the Church and the community.

Purpose: To represent the church in staffing of approved positions; prepare and maintain church approved positions descriptions and counsel staff members following the guidelines of the Bible and the Church’s By-Laws.

Purpose: The Publications Ministry provides services to the members and ministries of the Church through verified and regular communication of spiritually nourishing material, church event proceedings, and community awareness information. The Publications Ministry, through its faithful staff members, seeks to edify and fortify the church community with various media including The Vineyard church newsletter which is published quarterly; a general ministry handbook and individual ministry pamphlets which are updated and published annually; and development and management of the Church website.
Meeting Day and Time: A general staff meeting is held quarterly (every three months) on Monday at 7:00 p.m. on a phone conference call. In person meetings are held as needed.

Purpose: We provide Pastoral care for the Pastor, First Lady and the ministerial staff. We are like gatekeepers of the pulpit; we preserve the sacredness of the Pulpit as the most important part of the Sanctuary.

Purpose: To purchase certain items for the various ministries of this church, thereby ensuring that these items fall under the guidelines of the budget of the Church finances.

Purpose: To encourage and engage youth and adult believers through Christian activities. Our goal is to furnish the best opportunities for direct as well as indirect moral and religious training, while also having fun.
Meeting Day and Time: A general staff meeting is held on a quarterly basis. The time and day is coordinated around work schedules.

Purpose: To provide resources and services to enhance the quality of ministry, discipleship, fellowship and worship in the lives of the members of our church and the community

Purpose: To encourage and assist our college students as they go off to college or the Armed Forces with a special monetary gift from the membership. To encourage and support those who have graduated in their prospective degrees.

Education is a process encouraged by God. God created our minds and designed that a child who grows to maturity should increase in knowledge, wisdom, and skills.

Purpose: The purpose of this ministry is to bring people of Macedonia and the community out to our church to enjoy a delicious hot breakfast and to stay and hear the preaching of the Word of God. We seek to build up, encourage and teach seniors as well as lead other seniors to Christ.
Day and Time for Breakfast and the Word: Every 2nd and 4th Saturday at 9:00 a.m. at the Rev. John W. Taylor Family Life Center

Purpose: To assist in meeting the spiritual, physical, and emotional needs of women within our church congregation and surrounding communities through prayer, outreach activities, and Bible study. It is our desire to nurture a sister-to-sister connection among the women.

Purpose: The objectives of the Strategic Planning Ministry are 1) To review the Church’s current and future programs of work for one, five, and fifteen year periods; 2) To provide leadership and forward-thinking ideas that reflect the Church’s vision and mission goals; 3) To create a blueprint for Macedonia Missionary Baptist Church and the community; and 4) To develop means to address those issues and ideas and make recommendations of possible solutions.

Purpose: To awake and refresh the physical body to be alert and receptive to the Word of God. This is done to encourage and enliven the members to attend Sunday School, and to have a cup of coffee or juice before Worship Service.

Purpose: To teach the Word of God so that people will know God in a personal way through God’s Son Jesus Christ. The Sunday School seeks to encourage people to recognize and exercise their calling to evangelistic outreach as they respond to God in faith and love. Sunday School Class Schedule: Classes are every Sunday from 9:15 a.m. to 10:30 a.m. There are seven adult classes including a Topic class, and seven youth classes including the Nursery.
Meeting Day and Time for Ministry Meeting: The 1st Wednesday after the first Sunday every other month at 7:00 p.m. via Zoom

Purpose: To provide transportation service to our members for Worship services, Sunday School, Bible study, meetings, field trips, outdoor activities, visiting other churches and Vacation Bible School.

Purpose: The Trustees have responsibility for the care and up keep of all the Church’s fiscal assets including banking, employee benefits, along with physical assets including land, building, vehicles, insurance programs, legal matters, security background investigation and other indirect spiritual responsibilities as they arise. Other Trustee responsibilities include overseeing church operations; settling church expenses; maintaining inventory of all church properties and facilities; and overseeing all building and expansion projects. Trustee Board members are elected annually by the church.

Purpose: To reach out in faith; to encourage and strengthen on another. To walk in the light of Christ Jesus. To teach those wo do not know Him as their personal Savior.
Goals: To serve and honor widows indeed; to serve and strengthen one another through prayer, visitation, working together, walking in faith with love in our hearts for all mankind and to know that heaven is our home.

Honour widows that are widows indeed. In any man or woman that believeth have widows, let them relieve, and let not the church be charged; that it may relieve them that are widows indeed.

Purpose: To instruct, guide, and motivate our youth in Christian works and lifestyle, according to the word of God.
